One of the benefits of purchasing an American Caddy Vac is unlimited training with our very own duct cleaning company, B&F Power Vac. Mac and Donna Mattoon purchased B&F in 1988 and have grown the company significantly over the decades.
So when they developed American Caddy Vac in 1993, it made perfect sense to offer “on the job training” with B&F to anyone who purchased a new Caddy Vac. B&F staff are NADCA (National Air Duct Cleaners Association) certified ASCS (Air System Cleaning Specialists) cleaning technicians with a wealth of experience in cleaning residential, commercial, and industrial jobs.
And that’s huge! The training is customized for the customer! At any given time, B&F can offer this on the job training for residential, commercial, and industrial jobs. Our crews cover a wide range of facilities and can offer training at any of them. Your crew will learn how to use air duct cleaning tools and equipment and benefit from the experience of B&F crew members, and get tools for success from owners, Mac and Donna Mattoon, and General Manager Justin Mattoon.
It’s a great benefit that is absolutely free when you purchase your new American Caddy Vac.
Steve and Jo Underwood, owners of Mighty Ducts in Cheyenne, Wyoming were starting from scratch when they started their Air Duct Cleaning business in 1999. They had chosen duct cleaning as a start-up because it was an underserved service in their area. But they had no experience… they had never run any business, much less a duct cleaning business. So training with B&F and learning from Mac and Donna were critical in making their business a success.
Jo says, “When we first decided this was what we were going to do, Steve flew up to Lewiston and spent a week or a week and a half working in Mac’s duct cleaning business with his crew, learning how to do the job. It was really good training and the guys were helpful. They really helped us gain an understanding of what were getting into and what we were going to be doing. Mac is also the one who told us about the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, so we got involved with them almost since day one of our business and we’ve received some good training from them as well.”
“We purchased our first cleaner from American Caddy Vac in1999. Mac is the reason we are still in business. We had no experience! So Mac and Donna just absolutely took us by the hand. I can’t tell you, that first few years, how many hours Mac spent on the phone with us, coaching us through different job scenarios because there wasn’t anybody here who had that kind of equipment. So people started seeing that rolling billboard (the American Caddy Vac truck with Mighty Ducts’ distinctive branding) and they started calling! We were about a year into the business and we had the entire school district in the next county wanting us to come do their school. At that point we didn’t have enough experience, so once again we were on the phone with Mac, or on the phone with his wife Donna, doing what they had to do to help us through it. So yeah, we absolutely would not be in business without their help.”
Whether it’s training on site, or just getting some tips from someone who has decades of experience, buying an American Caddy Vac offers more than just the most powerful unit on the market… it gives you a wealth of experience you can use to make your business the best in your market.
