Filter Bag Maintenance is a critical component of your maintenance schedule. Once a filter bag becomes plugged or restricted, it directly affects the suction capability of your cleaner. Here’s a few tips for keeping your filter bags in good condition.
- Snap the filter bags after every job.
- Wipe the slope free of debris after every job.
- Keep the area around the bag rings free of any dirt.
- In rainy weather use a rain tarp to keep the bags dry.
- Wash your bags as needed (never use bleach, and when you are done washing, hang dry only)
- Inspect your bags regularly for holes, mold, or any damage.
- Always make sure a wood stove or fireplace is completely out and free of coals and sparks before hooking up to your truck.
