Filter Bag Maintenance is a critical component of your maintenance schedule.  Once a filter bag becomes plugged or restricted, it directly affects the suction capability of your cleaner.  Here’s a few tips for keeping your filter bags in good condition.

  1. Snap the filter bags after every job.
  2. Wipe the slope free of debris after every job.
  3. Keep the area around the bag rings free of any dirt.
  4. In rainy weather use a rain tarp to keep the bags dry.
  5. Wash your bags as needed (never use bleach, and when you are done washing, hang dry only)
  6. Inspect your bags regularly for holes, mold, or any damage.
  7. Always make sure a wood stove or fireplace is completely out and free of coals and sparks before hooking up to your truck.
