People ask if it is possible to run their compressor without opening the bag doors. The answer is yes… with qualifications.
First, be sure that the fan inlet plug is installed.
Next, be sure that you have either the suction security doors open or that the back door of the cleaning unit is open. That way, even with the plug installed, there will still be some leakage. If you leave everything sealed up tight, it will create a vacuum in the hose storage compartment that could collapse the walls of that space.
With the plug installed and a door open, you can safely run the compressor without opening the bag doors or connecting a suction hose.
