The number one cause of spinner failure is lack of lubrication!
The forward and reverse spinners need to be lubricated every cleaning and sometimes multiple times during a cleaning depending on how long the run time is and the amount of debris.
It’s good practice to lube spinners after every use. Make sure you work the lubricant into the bearing. This will prevent rust and seizing in the bearing.
Any penetrating lubricant can be used. WD-40 is a good one, readily available in any hardware store.
To lubricate the spinner hold it upside down and apply the lubricant. Once the lubricant is applied, work it in by spinning it to make sure the bearing is well lubricated.
