Every air duct cleaner fights moisture, especially in areas with high humidity. Moisture in your air tank can cause serious problems and shorten the life of your tank.
To prevent the build up of moisture, follow this simple Tech Tip: While you are cleaning, crack open the air tank drain valve slightly, just enough so that you are draining moisture from the tank without significantly affecting your air pressure.
This works especially well with truck mounts that run the larger compressors like the Quincy 370.
Caution: In cold weather keep an eye on the drain area to make sure you aren’t creating an icy slip hazard.
